We Staff Canada is hiring Cleaners for a food production facility in Markham, Ontario. This is sanitation work in a food grade environment where the standard is high and the work matters. Full time hours on a steady schedule.
What you will be doing
- Clean and sanitise production areas, equipment and food contact surfaces
- Wash down floors, drains and walls between runs and at the end of the shift
- Follow documented sanitation procedures and record what was cleaned
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and exactly as instructed
- Keep change rooms, washrooms and common areas presentable
- Report any equipment or hygiene concern right away
What you need
- Comfortable standing, bending and lifting through a full shift
- CSA approved steel toe safety boots
- Careful, methodical and able to follow a written procedure
- Previous cleaning, sanitation or food plant experience is an asset rather than a requirement
- Two pieces of valid identification
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
