We Staff Canada is hiring Laundry Attendants for a hotel in downtown Toronto. This is part time weekend work in the hotel on site laundry, a good fit if you want steady weekend hours close to transit.
Shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Part time.
What you will be doing
- Sort, wash, dry and fold hotel linen and towels
- Operate commercial washers, dryers and flatwork ironers
- Check linen for stains and damage and set aside anything needing a re wash
- Stock and deliver clean linen to housekeeping
- Keep clean and soiled linen separated to hotel standard
- Keep the laundry area clean, organised and safe
What you need
- Available Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Comfortable standing, bending and lifting through your shift
- Reliable and on time
- Previous laundry, housekeeping or hotel experience is an asset rather than a requirement
- Two pieces of valid identification
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
