We Staff Canada holds both licences required under Ontario’s Employment Standards Act: a Recruiter licence and a Temporary Help Agency licence. Since July 1, 2024, every temporary help agency and recruiter operating in Ontario must be licensed by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, and businesses are prohibited from knowingly using an unlicensed agency, with penalties of $15,000 to $50,000 per contravention.

For employers: engaging We Staff Canada satisfies your own legal obligation to use only licensed agencies and recruiters. Our associates are placed under ESA-compliant terms, our pricing is transparent, and we never charge for hourly consultation.

For job seekers: we never charge candidates a fee, for placement, interviews, or anything else. Charging job seekers is illegal in Ontario, and it has never been how we work. If anyone claiming to represent We Staff Canada asks you for money, it is not us, please let us know.
